I'm delighted this is so popular

I recently played through this game for the first time, and you have a wonderful sense of humor about the incomplete nature of the plotline. I suppose that's what happens when a near-completed game suddenly gets a change in license. Regardless, your models are well drawn (although your animation could be improved), and the script was great. I look forward to seeing your future animations.

A rerhnarkably well done flash animation

I'm somewhat amazed that this flash only managed to capture 6th place for the week. The animation is fast-paced (the hand drawn style looks wonderful), and it's simply oozing with style. As far as improvements go, perhaps focusing on creating gradients in shading instead of using several tones of color could be a positive contribution to your work, and i can't help but notice some odd charcter design (Is the gorrilas ship *supposed* to be so phallic, or is that unintentional?), and perhaps refining the design of the core charcters (It looks like you've put about as much effort into their design as all of the throw away charcters. Not a complaint, per se, just a direction), all adds up to an impressive flash movie that rises above the action/anime cliches it skillfully avoids.

It's dumb and absurd fun

It's pretty ridiclious, has jokes that go nowhere, and isn't nearly as offensive as the title would suggest. Worth watching if you're into that sort of thing.

An exausting display of dementia

Well, i'm not quite sure how to explain this epsoide, it's really horrifyingly demented, even more so than previous entries in the series. It's a display of over-the-top weirdness above all else, and seems to be developing quite a cult following on NG. While epsoides following the first haven't been the absolutely perfect forumlatic movie, they've still been remarkable in their uniqueness

I certaintly can't critize a work like this, and it's popularity only serves as evidence of it's beloved nature. Great job.

Intresting, but flawed

While you've made your poltical opinions more than clear with some of the flash series you've made (And this epsoide is a notible improvement over the first linda show), there's still a streak of mean-spirtedness behind the gleeful iconoclasty which you so proudly display. The kitchy introduction and musical ques are in line with the satrical edge of this flash, but i can't help but wonder about this flash (and all of your flash works for that matter) would benefit from distancing yourself from republican stereotypes in favor of more insightful commentary.

There's a lot going for this flash

First off, i'd like to say that your animation skills are among, if not the best on all of newgrounds. Your story-telling elements are abstract at best, but your creative artistic styles keep the flash intresting at all times. There are certaintly flaws to this flash (Using the american beauty soundtrack is straight up cliche), it's merely nitpicking. Amazing job, and i'd love to see your future work

Thanks! But u also can understand that it is impossible to put in a soundtrack that simply everyone will like. And I dont feel Thomas Newman gets the respect he earns. Usually movie soundtracks are played a billion times until everybody starts hating them. Newman is relatively unknown and has such awesome work (e.g download his six feet under theme) that he deserves to be in the spotlight too.

Frusterating, but well-done

Giving a flash movie like this a 6 is hard for a few reasons. I've kept up with the series, and it's really an intresting concept. Also, it's obivious that you put quite a bit of work into this epsoide of it. And yet, at the same time, i just can't give it anything higher. There's something so frusterating about the pacing and timing of this epsoide that it loses much of it's redeeming value. I'm clearly alone in thinking this based on the other reviews i've read, but there's an element to the flash that's so pretentious and overstated that it's hard to like. Your NG'er culture referances seem forced and un-natural. Your text boxes somehow destroy the flow of the movie. I really want to like this movie, but there's something standing in the way of it. I suppose on some level, given the wonderful content on newgrounds as of late, it's no longer enough to be a good artist and animator. You have to be able to fully capture the ideas of a good series, and this epsoide is somehow lacking.

I pass it off as a fluke given the rest of the series, but there are quite a few things in here that are worth fixing. Good effort, but, ultimately, a lesser chapter in the series.

Just not funny

While your exageration of consertive stereotypes perhaps gives some validity to their arguements, none of that matters. The flash suffers from simply not being clever, or anything resembling humorous. It's little more than a fat republican sitting around eating... perhaps if we replace that person with a fat democrat watching moveon you've created an inverse stereotype which would have half the score of this one due to the target audience of newgrounds.

Not to bash the rest of your works, the bush show, while clearly showing your bias, is clever and quick-whitted. This just doesn't capture the same good-spirited attitude of that.

holy crap

Well, seeing that the flash had a 4.1x rating, i wasn't quite sure what to expect. Seeing it, i can understand why it was popular, but ultimately, can't agree.

Your flash is melodrama, plain and simple. It's slopply handled, completely ludicrous, and yet, most of the NG'er audience can relate to it. I'd be lying if i didn't admit that i would have certaintly given this movie a 5 had i seen it three or four years ago.

However, there's quite a bit about your narrative style which could use improvements. Your dialog between charcters is entirely unrealisitic. Your drawings and animation could use work, and the entire concept of the flash is ridiclious.

Now, it's not to say that the flash is bad. On the other hand, for what you attempted to do, create a movie which could appeal to the 12-15 year old crowd on newgrounds, you did terribly well. I can imagine without difficulty an emo boy crying while watching this. However, your impact is lost upon an older audience. You show potentional in this flash, and with some refinments, perhaps some colaborative script writing, you could put together something really great. But for now, it stands in my mind as a decent effort, but medicore flash animation.

Why are you working with flash?

Looking at your flash, which is crazy-pretentious film student stuff, begs the question: Why exactly are you playing around with NES sprites when you clearly want to work in the medium of more legitmate film?
