An intresting, but flawed game
First of all, i have to complement you on your use of style in this game, everything feels well built, with a distinct sense of charcter and has a well defined, 2-d old skool feel to it. With that said, the game suffers from several flaws. Firstly, the difficulty is just over the top for something like this, which very quickly pushes the game from fun and good for consuming a few minutes of time, to tedious and obnoxious. Perhaps lower the amounts of items required to move to the next level to 100/70, and for people who get everything, include an extra bonus round or something. This leads into the game's most significant problem, which is that the engine itself simply isn't that intresting. Within a few minutes of playing, someone can easily master the controls, and the game becomes merely a chain of completing mundane tasks. So, i reccomend adding some additional items to spice up the gameplay, something akin to the ninja ropes in worms could fit the game well, or many other things. As for now though, it feels like a concept for a game, than a true game.
Commendable effort and progress, but it could some additions.
